ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Dr Francis A. Menezes is well known in the field of management education and applied behavioural science. He is Director of Turiya, Centre for Creative Solutions. Prior to this, he was Director of the Tata Management Training Centre for 27 years and Director of the Tata Administrative Service. Dr Menezes is the Founder-Director of the Indian Association for the Study of Dreams (IASD) and was elected to the Board of the IASD in 1985. He pioneered ‘Creativity and Dream Workshops’ in corporate training in India and has worked with the dreams of managers, public administrators, entrepreneurs, religious groups and many others. He has presented papers on his work with dreams at IASD annual conferences in the United States, at science seminars in India and at the Global Management Development Forum in Barcelona, Spain. Dr Menezes, who was a member of the boards of Indian Airlines and Tata-McGraw Hill, received Pune’s Pride Award for Excellence in the World of Academics in 1997.
